A puzzle full of pieces

Over a month in to my (who knows how long) adventure, and I'm finally getting a blog started (lets be honest It's only because I lost my journal and need a place to write things)
Honestly, I'm not actually sure how I feel about blogs - nor do I have any idea whether I should write about my favourite places to visit, what I'm learning, the good bits, the bad bits, my new starbucks coffee order or my favourite cookie flavour at Ben's Cookies (seriously so grateful I don't live here permanently or I'd have heart disease in a decade thanks to Ben) - but if all goes according to plan i'll do my best to give you a little bit of everything.
The family I live with in London always have a 1000 piece puzzle on the go - its been surprising really fun spending time just doing puzzles. Before I left New Zealand, I knew this year would be one big puzzle. I'm living in the wealthiest part of London, then travelling in Europe before going to intern in an aftercare home for Human Trafficking victims on the other side of the continent, and that's only half of the year. It feels a bit all over the place but I am sure that I'll look back on the year and each part will some how fit together, just like a puzzle. In my mind I always pictured my year as one of those children's puzzle with 10 or 12 pieces to it and that London would be a piece, Greece a piece, Amsterdam a piece, work a piece and church a piece etc. I was very wrong about that - the more time I spend here, the more I have come to realise that the year will be a lot more like the thousand piece puzzles i spend the day doing with a 7 year old and a lot less like some 12 piece Winnie the Pooh puzzle you can solve in 30 seconds. Each day is filled with opportunities, lessons, adventures, joy, pain and stories - so I will do my best to bring you just a few of my puzzle pieces that will make up 2015.
In advance, please excuse my sporadic posting, awful punctuaton. and random assortment of blog posts. Here's to the greatest adventure yet...
